Today is April 17th, which signifies the beginning of our 12th week in our internship program. It's a special day for us since we're starting a new chapter in our journey. We're now assigned to work in the research office of BUCS, which is a new environment for us. We're excited to see what the office has in store for us and what tasks we'll be assigned to complete.

As soon as we arrived in the office, Sir Sam welcomed us and gave us our first task. He asked us to collect all the thesis books from the chemistry department, ranging from the early 2010s to the present. It was quite a daunting task, but we were up for the challenge.

Our objective was to scan the title page, approval sheet, and abstract of each thesis book to create digital copies for safe record keeping and public use. It was a task that required meticulous attention to detail, as we needed to ensure that each page was scanned accurately and was of high quality.

As we worked on this task, we also familiarized ourselves with the office and its staff. We introduced ourselves to our new colleagues and got to know them better. We were delighted to find out that the research office was a warm and welcoming environment, and we felt right at home.

Overall, it was an exciting first day for us in the research office. We were thrilled to be assigned to this new department and were eager to tackle the tasks ahead. We looked forward to the coming weeks and the valuable experience we would gain during our time there.

Today is April 18 and we resumed our task of digitalizing the thesis books from the Chemistry department. It was a meticulous task, as we had to scan the title page, approval sheet, and abstract of each book, but we were determined to complete it. Later in the afternoon, we went to the ICT office to inform them of our office transfer and to update our biometrics. With that done, we went ahead and exercised our right to vote for the student council elections, which was quite exciting. The profound quote, "When you vote, think of them. You have families and futures to consider," spoken in the movie Dark Command, serves as a powerful reminder that even in the context of a student council election, the choices we make possess the potential to reverberate far beyond the confines of our immediate surroundings. As I reflect upon the significance of this quote in relation to the ongoing electoral process within our esteemed educational institution, I am compelled to delve deeper into the profound impact that such an ostensibly localized event can have on the institution itself, as well as the lives of the incoming students who will soon call it their educational home. Soon after, Sir Sam assigned us a new task of cleaning the shelves in the Chemistry room, in preparation for the cleaning of their office. It was a bit of a break from our usual routine, but we were happy to be of help in any way we can.

Today is April 19th, and it was a relatively uneventful day. We continued to work on the pending task that we were assigned. Although there were no major developments or changes, we made steady progress throughout the day. Despite the lack of excitement, we remained focused and diligent in our work, recognizing the importance of completing our tasks on time and to the best of our abilities. As we approach the end of our internship, it is essential to maintain a strong work ethic and remain committed to our responsibilities. Even on days where there is not much happening, we must strive to make the most out of our time and continue to improve our skills and abilities.

On this day, April 20, we continued to work on the same task as the previous day. Although it may seem repetitive, we understand the importance of completing our pending tasks in a timely and efficient manner. We strive to ensure that we have all the necessary information and resources needed to successfully complete the task at hand. Our dedication and focus on our work have allowed us to make steady progress towards achieving our goals for this internship.

It is already April 22 and today is a Saturday. We did not have any work yesterday as it was a special day of celebration for our Muslim brothers and sisters, which is the Eid'l Fitr. As for today, we have accomplished the task of shredding old papers in the Chemistry department, such as the previous year's exam papers and worksheets. Additionally, we also assisted Sir Sam in cutting the invitations for his upcoming event, "Innovations for a Preferred Future Competition". It was a fun and productive day, as we got to do something useful for the department while also helping out with the preparations for the said competition. Overall, it was a good way to end the week.
