𝗘𝗣𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗗𝗘 𝟬𝟬𝟯. Forest Gump (1994)

It is already the third day of our internship, and the duty of scanning documents is still being carried out. In all fairness, we are moving much more quickly today compared to the previous day. this might be because we are already familiar with the procedure. Paper jams are unfortunately still a common occurrence, but we are prepared to deal with it. We conceived of a scheme in which the responsibility that was delegated to us would be different each time we scanned a set of program papers. For instance, I was charged to scan the documents, someone else is responsible for removing the stapler, one person will rename the file, and the other one will organize the papers that have been finished; after each program, the duty that has been allocated to us will be swapped. Following all of that, during our break time, my fellow interns and I engage in some light conversation with one another. We told each other about our backgrounds and experiences. My attention was drawn to one of them in particular. She said that she is under the impression that she is not very brilliant in any area. She was pushed into the background by the people that surrounded her. She explained to us that even in academics, although she does grasp the fundamentals, she does not succeed to an exceptional level. Honestly, I had the same sentiments that she did; I also feel that I'm a nobody. I am not very skilled in a lot of things. But if there's one line from the movie Forrest Gump that sticks with me, it's this one: "Don’t ever let anybody tell you they’re better than you." Yes, sometimes we are not good at many things  but there is always something that you are excellent at.  It's important that you don't become worn out seeking for it because once you do discover it, you will finally feel the fulfillment that you've been craving all along. Following that, a sweet little surprise was provided for us by the partner of our supervisor. A sandwich for each and every one. The day was both exhausting and enjoyable. I am looking forward to the next day, hoping that it may bring me some new knowledge.
